PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: June 10, 2026

Child Learning Assistant ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of children and all users of our mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information within the Child Learning Assistant app.

1. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA COMPLIANCE)
Our app is designed for children and students. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information (PII) from children under the age of 13. All data related to homework and mistakes is stored locally on your device.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
- Local Storage: The app stores homework records, mistake images, and exam results in a local SQLite database on your device. This data stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
- Camera and Photo Library: The app requires access to your camera and photo library to allow you to take photos of mistakes for recording. These images are stored locally.

3. DATA USAGE
We use the information stored on your device solely to:
- Provide the homework tracking functionality.
- Organize and manage your mistake library.
- Generate mock exams based on your mistake records.
- Provide a personalized learning experience.

4. DATA SHARING
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties. Your data remains on your device except for the temporary processing of images by the third-party AI service mentioned above.

5. DATA SECURITY
We use industry-standard security measures on your device to protect your local database. However, users are responsible for securing their own devices.

6. USER RIGHTS
Since the data is stored locally, you have full control over it. You can delete individual records or the entire app data at any time through the app interface or your device settings.

7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app or on our support website.
