Last Updated: June 6, 2026

Focens ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information through our mobile application, Focens (the "App").

1. NO DATA COLLECTION
Focens is designed with a "Privacy First" philosophy.
- We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, including but not limited to your name, email address, location, or usage data.
- We do not use any third-party analytics or tracking software.
- We do not have access to the tasks you enter or your focus history.

2. LOCAL STORAGE ONLY
All data created or used within the App, such as task names, focus durations, and nudge intervals, is stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not synchronized with any external servers.

3. APP PERMISSIONS
To provide its core functionality, Focens may request the following permissions:
- Notifications: Required to deliver "Focus Nudges" and session completion alerts when the App is in the background.
- Live Activities: Required to display the timer on your Dynamic Island and Lock Screen.
These permissions are used strictly for on-device functionality and do not involve any data collection.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Focens does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or social media platforms.

5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Because we do not collect any personal information, Focens is safe for users of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since we do not collect any user data, any changes will primarily reflect updates to App features or regulatory requirements. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
